FOUNDATION COURSE ON RAILWAY TRACK – FTR12
For students who want to pursue a career in Railway Track linking.
Duration : 4 weeks- 12 Modules
Eligibility : Degree/ Diploma in Engineering – Mechanical & Civil
Module 1 : Regular Track Maintenance – Introduction of tracks, Track Layouts, Components & manual Maintenance of tracks, Curves and their maintenance
Module 2 : Deep Screening of ballast: Introduction, Deep screening situation & Procedure.
Module 3 : Maintenance of points and crossings, LWR/CWR /SWR & bridges and level crossing.
Module 4 : Curves and super-elevations
Module 5-8 : On site exposure of Live continuous project
Module 9-12 : Hand-on experience with the professional team in projects
FOUNDATION COURSE ON OVER HEAD ELECTRIFICATION – FOHE12
A 12 module thorough Course for the B-Tech/ BE graduates who want to make their career in the field of Overhead Electrification.
Duration : 4 weeks
Eligibility : Degree/ Diploma in Engineering- EEE
Module 1 : Track Geometry, Railway Tracks, Cross over Loop lines, common loop facility, Trap switch, sand hump, fouling point/mark (FP/FM), and different types of Plat forms etc.
Module 2 : Signal, Semaphore, Indicators, starters, Advance starters and shunt signals, Signals
Module 3-4 : Electric traction and OHE: Project Report, cost of working and ROR calculation under DCF technique, and survey Plan. General/Power supply diagram, OHE, Bill of quantities BOQ), Safety rules, IE rules and IE act.
Module 5-6 : Traction Substation, Switching Stations, SP & SSP, Location plan, SCADA, Rolling stocks.
Module 7-9 : On site exposure of live continuous project

A 4 module Course for the B-Tech/ BE Graduates who aspire to be a part Railway Signal Design.
Duration : 4 weeks – 12 Modules
Eligibility : Degree/ Diploma in Engineering- EEE/ECE
Module 1 : Signalling the Layout (Headway, Braking distance, Signalling plan, How to design a Signalling plan, etc.)
Module 2 : Design of table of control (What is control table, Importance of control table control table, How to design control table, etc.)
Module 3 : Circuit Logic (Part1, Part 2 and Part 3)
Module 4 : Conversion of circuits to Wiring Diagrams with explanation of analysis (Part 1 and Part 2) & Exercises

Module 3 : Wireless sets for Radio communication. GHz range applications with free band. Govt. polices and Governing bodies.
Module 4 : Maintaining the telecom network for Rail Industry. Field/Industry Visits
